RoboCupJunior Soccer

RoboCupJunior Soccer challenges teams to design, build, and program two autonomous robots that play soccer against another team. Robots must detect the ball and score into color‑coded goals on a special field modelled after a human soccer pitch.
The RCJ Soccer league has two sub-leagues:
- Soccer Infrared (formerly Soccer Lightweight): played using a special ball that emits an IR signal and robots may weigh up to 1.5 kg, and be up to 22cm in size.
